This is the third game in the Halo series. This is a first person shooter games where you are fighting your mortal enemy the Covenant. An Alien alliance bent on controlling the universes and destroying all those that stand in its way of achieving The Great Journey.

In this game you have just returned to earth after leaving Crotona behind the Covenant Home world. You have escaped the flood and have stolen away on a Covent Ship heading for earth. You are found in an African Jungle buy a group of Marines accompany by Arbiter. You quickly discover that the Humans have almost been beaten by the Covenant. They are on the run trying to find a way to fight back and turn the tide of battle.

You join almost suicidal mission to destroy the Covenant drilling site where the Prophet of Truth is hiding and focusing his forces. As you are getting the load down in the last base the Humans control in Africa, the base is attacked. It becomes your job to clear all exits and set off a boom to give a lasting farewell.

Soon you meet up at the rally point and the battle begins. Once you have taken down the covenant forces protecting the dig site. The boomers come in. It looks like the game is about to end there. But we all know things are never that simple.

The Flood arrive to make their Grand Entrance, with a few new forms to add to the head ache. This is where the Elites come in to make the game more interesting. They come to destroy the Flood and end the Prophet of Truth. As the Flood arrive the Prophet of Truth escapes with the rest of his forces through a portal to the last line of Defense against the Flood, a key to activating the Halo rings.

That is a far as I go with the story mode in this game. So to find out more play the adventure.

On to the rest of the game, this is the first Halo game to add Forge. Forge is a map creating game that you can play against players or guild your own maps. I recommend trying this out at least once.

Now for what makes the Halo Games what they are, The Multiplayer. In this game you can play online or on your own personal network. Sadly though with most Halo games there is a lot of glitches. Players will disappear and reappear so get use to that.

When it comes the graphics in this game it is amazing. The graphics clear and have little issues. Everything will run smoothly there.

In my option this is the worst game in the halo series. The brutes are too easy to kill and there is way too much of the Flood. So if you hate the Flood you will not like the campaign in this game. Everything else about this game is great though. If the Halo’s main selling point was the campaign then this game would be a flop.
