Halo 3: ODST a sub game of Halo 3, it is a first person shooter game created by Bungie (creators of the halo games). In this game you play has a ODST (Orbital Drop Shock Troopers) Soldier. This game takes place during the Covenant invasion in the second Halo and after the Covenant leave.

Halo 3: ODST starts out with you waking up from a drop, which has you coming back hours after the Covenant, have already left. Your team is gone and you’re alone looking for clue as to what has happen. As you travel around from location to location to start to put together the pieces.

As you come to each clue that points you to what has happened, you start to relive these events. You play as one of your teammates through each of these stories until all the event lead to the present.

This campaign is one of the better Halo campaigns in my option, but many would disagree with that. The best thing about this campaign though is the fact that there are no Flood in this game. All it is you verses the Covenant in a lot of one on twenty fights. It is amazing.

The best feature in this game is Firefight. In Firefight you play against wave after wave of covenant until they eventually kill your or you claim victory. I would not ever recommend playing firefight on line because there are way too many jerks and pains with playing online. The players are usually the problem and second are the glitches. Firefight for whatever reason never runs well online. If you want to play with friends, I recommend system link.

There is a second disk to this game that contains Halo 3 Multiplayer (I love this because I hated halo 3). So if you want to play this game and not bother with Halo 3 then you’ll have everything Halo 3 had and more.
